John & Johnny Gall Share Baseball Bond at NTIS

A father-son duo with deep ties to the game, John Gall and his son Johnny continue the family legacy on the national stage.

From the Major Leagues to USA Baseball, John Gall has spent his life around the game. Gall, a three-time USA Baseball alumnus and 2008 Olympic medalist, is a former big leaguer who has seen baseball from every angle. This summer, he got to see the game from an even more personal perspective – watching his son Johnny compete at the USA Baseball National Team Identification Series (NTIS).

For Johnny, playing the game his dad once played at the highest level is more than just a pastime, but a connection. We caught up with both John and Johnny to hear about their shared love of baseball, the lessons passed down, and the memories they’ve built together on and off the field.
